WBSN workshops offer a guided, hands-on experience designed to support women at different stages of their cue sports journey. Sessions typically include billiards and snooker demonstrations, practical technique tips, time on the table with guidance, and opportunities for questions and shared discussion.
Workshops are delivered in a relaxed, supportive environment and are shaped by the interests, experience levels, and conversations within the group.
Bendigo Workshop - February 2026
The Women’s Billiards and Snooker Network Incorporated (WBSN Inc.) was proud to deliver its Bendigo Workshop at the end of February 2026, hosted at the Golden Square Working Men’s Club.
This workshop marked a significant milestone for WBSN, welcoming a large group to date with 16 women in attendance, supported by a number of male supporters who contributed positively to the learning environment.
From the outset, the session maintained a relaxed, inclusive and supportive atmosphere, allowing participants of all experience levels to feel comfortable, engaged and willing to learn. The workshop focused on core fundamentals including stance, cue action, sighting, and pre-shot routine, with a strong emphasis on building confidence on the full-size table.
Participants were guided through demonstrations and practical table time, ensuring that each attendee had the opportunity to apply techniques in a hands-on setting. The level of engagement was exceptional, with participants asking thoughtful questions, supporting one another, and embracing the learning process.
All participants proudly wore their WBSN promotional t-shirts during the session, adding to the sense of unity and identity within the group. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees indicating a desire for ongoing coaching opportunities and future workshops.
The Bendigo Workshop once again demonstrated the growing demand for structured, inclusive pathways for women in billiards and snooker. It reinforced WBSN’s mission to create accessible opportunities, develop skills, and build a stronger, more connected community within the sport.
