Multiple World Champion Rob Hall to Work with WBSN National Women’s Snooker Academy

The Women’s Billiards and Snooker Network Incorporated is incredibly excited to announce that multiple World Champion Rob Hall from the United Kingdom will be working with members of the WBSN National Women’s Snooker Academy during his upcoming visit to Australia for the Walter Lindrum Championship in June.

Widely regarded as one of the most respected coaches in world billiards and snooker, Rob Hall’s achievements in the sport are extensive, both as a player and mentor. His reputation internationally for coaching, player development and technical knowledge makes this an extraordinary opportunity for Academy members.

The offer came directly from Rob after hearing about the work currently being undertaken through the WBSN National Women’s Snooker Academy and the broader vision for women’s cuesports in Australia.

For WBSN, this represents another significant milestone in what has already been an incredibly exciting period of growth for the organisation.

The Academy has only just commenced its first season, however the momentum surrounding the program has already exceeded expectations, with strong interest across multiple venues and sessions. The involvement of respected international figures within the sport further reinforces the importance of creating genuine development pathways and opportunities for women and girls entering cuesports.

The special coaching session will add to an already outstanding Academy calendar, which also includes a combined session featuring Australia’s No. 1 Women’s Snooker and Billiards player Jessica Woods later in the season.

WBSN believes strongly that providing access to high quality coaching, mentorship and development opportunities is essential to growing women’s participation and raising standards within the sport.

To have internationally respected figures such as Rob Hall and Jessica Woods involved with the Academy in its very first season is something the organisation is extremely proud of.
